Lunch at the Indonesian Embassy – Thursday 17th October

The Ambassador of Indonesia has invited CAUSINDY’s delegates to an exclusive lunch and cultural performance together with the Indonesian diplomatic staff inside the Indonesian Embassy. This will be an excellent opportunity for delegates to enjoy traditional Indonesian food and dance as well as get to know the Indonesian Embassy team.

Tour of Canberra – Thursday 17th October

After lunch at the Indonesian Embassy, delegates will be taken on a tour of Australia’s capital. They can look forward to enjoying the natural beauty of Lake Burley Griffin, the nation’s Parliamentary Triangle and the home of Australia’s government- Parliament House, and the stunning panorama of Canberra’s natural beauty from Mount Ainslie.

Opening Gala Dinner – Thursday 17th October

CAUSINDY will be officially opened with a Gala Dinner at the Hyatt Hotel Canberra with special guest keynote speaker Sid Myer AM, Chairman of the Asialink Board. The dinner is an opportunity for delegates, speakers, sponsors and the conference team to come together to celebrate the relationship. Delegates can get to know each other, sponsor representatives and CAUSINDY speakers over a formal dinner and prepare for the productivity of coming days.

After Dark: Curator’s Tour @ National Gallery of Australia – Friday 18th October

The delegates will be taken on a private Curator’s tour of Australia’s National Gallery, with a special focus on the exquisite Indigenous artworks. Delegates will learn about the artists and the stories behind the paintings.

Networking Event – Friday 18th October
